Wadi Degla vs. Al Marekh 1-1

Wadi Degla Vs Al Marekh 1 – 1
Wednesday April/7/2010

First half
The team started the match strongly and the visitors showed that it wouldl be an easy victory. Wadi Degla midfielder and one of the most important players of the team couldn’t play because of three yellow cards. In the attack there were three players, Wael Abd El Fatah, Ahmed Atta and Wisdom, who worked hard to score and by the 22nd minute Wisdom shot a very strong ball towards the keeper, who couldn’t catch it and fumbled. Ahmed Atta followed to use it to score the first goal for Wadi Degla. Most of the first half was interesting for Wadi Degla although they lost many easy chances. One of the best chances in the first half was through Keryako, Wadi Degla’s midfielder.

Second half
This was a very strange half from both teams. The visitors surprised everybody, their coach also played with three strikers trying to draw, and he did it. Wadi Degla lost their balance and weren’t as active as they were in the first half so there weren’t as many chances to score like in the first half. Al Marekh focused hard to draw and to win. By the middle of this half, Al Marekh players succeeded to draw by scoring their first goal. Coach Hisham used his substitutions to increase the effectiveness of the attack, but weren’t able to score. The visitors were very close to scoring their second goal, but they were unlucky and the match ended with one for each team.
