



Dana Khaled is Wadi Degla’s Swimming Champion, she was born in Alexandria and grew up in Cairo. In her private time, she likes going out with her friends and surfing on the internet. Before committing to swimming, she tried many other sports like Squash, Basketball, and Gymnastics, and finally joined Wadi Degla's swimming team in 2002 when she was 4 years old; that's when she discovered her great swimming talent. Dana's parents always encouraged her to do her best. Dana receives training under Captain Mohamed Youssef and Captain Mohamed Fekry.

• 200 m Back in Egyptian Cup
• 50 m Butterfly in Cairo tournament

• Also she took the best record in the Egyptian Cup 2009
Dana's goal is to represent Egypt at the Olympics and believes that it can be attained through training in order to join the Egyptian national team then participating in the Olympics. Her role model is Fareeda Osman who joined Egypt's National swimming team.
