Laila Omar was born in Cairo, Egypt on the 22nd of February, 1996. She attends the 8th grade at Misr American College and in her free time she enjoys reading and listening to music.

Laila has been a member of the Wadi Degla- El Borolossy Squash Team since 2006.  Her role models are Nicol David, Amr Shabana and Karim Darwish.
