Mazen Gamal

Mazen Gamal, a professional squash player, was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the 30th of January, 1986.

In September 2008, at the age of 22, Mazen decided to go professional only after feeling mature enough to compete on the international tour which has saved him alot of time to rise rapidly to the top, by winning two successive tournaments and maintaining an un-beaten run in Tehran only after a few months of joining the tour.

Mazen has enjoyed a meteoric rise in world squash since joining the PSA World Rankings late in 2008 as the 407th player over the world. After achieving huge success on the national tour, the 23 year old managed in less than a year of his promising professional squash career to grab two titles, become runner-up in Wadi Degla PSA Open losing to World no. 1 Karim Darwish in a close match and to appear in the semi final in many prestiious tournaments.

Now with the earned experience, developed skills and remarkable talent Mazen is becoming a dangerous threat to the top players already upsetting higher ranked players.  There is no doubt that he will dig his place between the top players within a few years.
